How did you decide what/where to read? Do you have a specific goal by the end of the year?
ReplyDeleteHave enjoyed your blog!
Blessings, Sarah
The past year has been a rough one for me spiritually, and so I chose Ecclesiastes because it's like King Solomon was just meeting me where I was. For years, I've been reading the Proverb chapter that corresponds to the day, so I continued that, and Hebrews - honestly, because I flipped to a random book in the NT.
DeleteI don't have a specific goal by the end of the year; my goal is to just read a few chapters a day all year. Years back, I would read one chapter in each OT & NT a day and it took 2 1/2 years to go through the OT one chapter at a time (the NT only takes about 8 months)...so I increased the OT reading to 2 chapters a day to even it out a little better.
Thank you for visiting, and for the great questions! I am blessed that you are here :)
