I'm listing the books, websites, and other resources here that the Lord has used to encourage, train, teach, and grow me (and Will, as well. I haven't read all the books in the men's list, but I've seen God work through them in Will's life!). There are more - so many more. I'll add as I'm able and as I remember...

I also welcome suggestions, too! Will and I *really* like to read!

  1. Gasp!! You've read Wrestling Prayer, too!? You are the first blogger I've found to mention it. :) If that one gripped you, I definitely recommend The Bravehearted Gospel by Eric Ludy (good for both genders!).
And Donna Otto's book. And The Naturally Healthy Pregnancy... Oh my goodness! Many of the books on your list I've either read or want to!

May I recommend a couple more for you to check out? Passionate Housewives Desperate for God by Jennie Chancey and Stacy McDonald... and When You Rise Up by R.C. Sproul, Jr. :)

As for music -- you might look into Keith and Kristyn Getty's music. They are "modern hymn writers" with power-packed Gospel truths throughout their songs. :)

    1. Wrestling Prayer impacted how I prayed so much! I've read parts of the Bravehearted Gospel along with my husband (a few years ago), and I remember liking what I read!

Thanks for the recommendations. RC Sproul is becoming a favorite of mine. I'll add both titles to my "want to read this someday!" list!
